Job Summary

We are seeking a results-oriented and strategic professional for the role of Assistant Vice President – Corporate Sales to lead and grow our corporate sales vertical in Bangalore. This role will involve driving new business, managing client relationships, and mentoring a small but focused sales team.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs)

Business Development & Revenue Achievement

  • Drive new business acquisition across large and mid-market clients for corporate insurance/employee benefit solutions.
  • Achieve revenue targets as per quarterly and annual sales plans.
  • Identify, pitch, and convert high-value clients through consultative selling.

Client Relationship Management

  • Own and manage key client relationships, ensuring consistent engagement and service quality. 
  • Work closely with internal teams to provide customized solutions aligned with client requirements.

Team Management

  • Manage and mentor a dedicated team. 
  • Provide guidance on strategy, pipeline development, deal structuring, and closure. 
  • Monitor performance and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

Market Development & Strategy

  • Map the Bangalore corporate market to identify and engage target sectors and high- potential accounts. 
  • Track competitor offerings and market trends to refine positioning and offerings.

Sales Governance & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of sales pipeline, client activity, and forecasting. 
  • Prepare regular reports for regional and national leadership. 
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, company, and ethical standards.

Key Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

Experience

Minimum 5 – 10 years of proven experience in B2B/Corporate Sales, preferably in insurance, broking, BFSI, or allied services.
